Anima launches the first challenge to help researchers and early-stage teams build ventures from bioinspired science.

We’re looking for breakthrough ideas in labs. If you’re working on something with real-world potential, and want to take it beyond the lab, this is for you.

What we offer

Over 6 months, we’ll help you:

→ Match with a co-founder (business/ops)

→ Validate the market and identify early clients

→ Translate research into an investable business model

→ Develop your first deck (non-scientific storytelling)

→ Access non-dilutive funding opportunities

→ Connect with mentors and the Anima network

We co-build ventures, we don’t just advise.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for:

→ TRL 2 to 5: Projects with validated concepts or early-stage prototypes

→ Bio-inspired approaches (function, form, or process)

→ Researchers, project leads or early-stage startups ready to transition from concept to market.

→ Open to applicants from any country

→ Ambition to build something that scales

Timeline
